Advance Passenger Information (API)

In order to enhance border security control, facilitate arrival immigration and customs clearance, and expedite the process of completing arrival formalities for our passengers, airlines are required by customs and immigration authorities of various countries to collect passengers' passport data for pre-arrival clearance. There are serious penalties imposed on airlines for non-compliance to data submission / accuracy.

Travel agents are required to enter Advance Passenger Information (API) in SSR element for booking with flights involved prior to arrival. Details as below: 

Travel document - DOCS

  1. Gender
  2. Date of Birth (full date format, e.g. 01Jan75)
  3. Nationality (3 letter AIRIMP country/region code)
  4. Document Type (e.g. P or A or C. Please refer AIRIMP standard code)
  5. Issuing Country/Region Code(3 letter AIRIMP country/region code)
  6. Expiring Date (full date format, e.g. 01Jan75)
  7. Document Number (full date format, e.g. 01Jan75)
  8. Surname (Document holder Surname)
  9. Given Name (Document holder Given Name, omit title and honorifics)
  10. Middle Name (Optional, Document holder Middle Name)
