February and March frequency changes
We are constantly monitoring and adapting to the latest travel information and restrictions. We remain dedicated to flying your travellers where they need to be.
As a result of the rising Omicron cases worldwide, further tightening of aircrew quarantine measures and flight bans from certain destinations have been imposed by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
We will operate as many services as possible to key destinations while complying with the latest Government measures.
These restrictions continue to impact our flight schedule and, consequently, will further reduce our passenger flights to and from Hong Kong from now until tentatively the end of the first quarter of 2022 (March 2022). Kindly note that these changes are subject to ongoing reviews and may be adjusted as the situation develops. More flight options with HK Express for Kaohsiung
Due to the ongoing impact of global travel and operational restrictions, we have had to make several changes to our flight schedule, including the temporary suspension of several Cathay Pacific flights and routes throughout the first quarter of 2022.
To minimise any delay and impact on our customer’s travel plans, we offer the option to fly with HK Express, our Cathay Pacific Group partner airline. Enjoy more flexibility when flying with us
Altering plans for your travellers is easy. We are offering unlimited changes up to 31 March 2022 for all new tickets issued between 9 March 2020 and 31 March 2022, without the usual change fee. After then, they can make one additional free change at any time.
Your travellers also have the option to exchange tickets for Cathay Credits and cancel bookings with a full refund. Once they have changed their ticket to Cathay Credits, they will have until 31 March 2022 to redeem on a new booking. Travel must be completed before 31 March 2023.
