Cathay Pacific launches direct flights to Almaty from 9 January 2027
Cathay Pacific is pleased to announce that its new direct passenger service between Hong Kong and Almaty is now open for booking, with its first flight taking off on 9 January 2027. This will be Cathay Pacific’s first destination in Central Asia and the only direct passenger service linking Hong Kong and Kazakhstan, reaffirming the airline’s ongoing commitment to growing Hong Kong’s connectivity with Belt and Road countries.
