Cathay Pacific Takes Off from Munich to Hong Kong for the First Time!

Excited to announce the launch of our new direct service between Munich and Hong Kong – the first time ever Cathay Pacific has connected the Bavarian capital to our home hub!

Starting yesterday, we will be operating four non-stop flights per week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat), offering travellers from southern Germany seamless access to destinations across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand through our extensive network. This marks a significant milestone as Munich becomes our second German gateway alongside Frankfurt, and reinforces our commitment to strengthening ties between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region.

As we continue expanding globally — with Rome recently resumed and Brussels launching in August — we’re proud to serve 12 European cities this summer with close to 100 return flights per week.
