Sell big to win! Sell Cathay Pacific to win* a trip to the Hong Kong Sevens

Turn every ticket issued into a chance to win* an exhilarating trip to the Hong Kong Sevens this April!  

Every eligible Cathay Pacific ticket you issue earns entries – the more you sell, the closer you get to the Sevens. Six winners will each receive a travel agent familiarisation trip which includes return flights, a hotel stay and curated experiences to catch the action live in Hong Kong.

Take your sales streak to the ultimate rugby experience. Don’t delay – the competition ends on 31 March 2026.

 

Who can enter:

This competition is open to Australian-based travel agents who hold a valid IATA and PCC number**, and maintain a physical office in Australia.

 

Competition Prize:

Each winning Cathay Agent will receive a travel agent familiarisation trip to attend the Hong Kong Sevens between 17-19 April 2026, which includes:

  • 1 three-day pass to the Hong Kong Sevens from 17 – 19 April 2026 at Kai Tak Stadium
  • 1 return Economy class ticket from Australia to Hong Kong***
  • 4 nights of Hotel Accommodation at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel between 16 April and 20 April 2026
  • Selected Hong Kong experiences

 

How to participate:

  1. Sign up on the Cathay Agents Portal if you are not yet a Cathay Agent
  2. Submit the online competition registration form by 31 March 2026
  3. Sell and issue eligible revenue tickets^ originating from Australia on Cathay Pacific during 16 February – 31 March 2026. Entries are earned based on ticket issuance as follows:
  • 1 entry per Economy class return or one-way ticket issued, originating from Australia to any destination
  • 2 entries per Premium Economy class return or one-way ticket issued, originating from Australia to any destination
  • 2 entries per Business class return or one-way ticket issued, originating from Australia to any destination

 

How to compete:

A total of 6 winning Cathay Agents^^ will be selected from Australia:

  • 3 winners will be determined by the highest total ticket volume during the competition period
  • 3 winners will be determined by the highest YoY increase in tickets issued during the competition period, compared with the same period in 2025^^^

Each winning agent is required to pay a Cathay participation fee of AUD500 to Cathay Pacific, covering fuel surcharges and taxes associated with the flight ticket.

 

Winner Announcement:

The 6 winning agents will be announced on or before 10 April 2026, and attempts will be made to notify the winning agents by email or phone using the contact details provided on the competition registration form.

*Abbreviated Terms and Conditions: The competition "Sell Cathay Pacific to win* a trip to the Hong Kong Sevens" commences at 12:01 AM (AEDT) on 16 February 2026 and concludes on 31 March 2026 at 11:59PM (AEDT).
