Seamen reservations should be made in the normal way, except that a contact of the shipping agent at the destination point and transfer point should be provided in an SSR. This will ensure that in the event of delays, changes to routings or any circumstances which may affect the arrival of the crew at their destination, the ship owners will be kept fully informed.
